NATIONAL ― As-Salaam-Alaikum (Peace be with you).

American Muslim 360 (AM360) will broadcast live a special two-hour series finale on the historic evolution and transition of the largest identifiable body of American Muslims to true Islam under the leadership of Imam Dr. Warith Deen Mohammed (RA 1933-2008). On December 18 at 8 a.m. EST, the Friday CWSC Roundtable with host Mark “the Spark” Shahid will welcome Professor Ayesha K. Mustafaa, editor for the Muslim Journal; AM360 executive producer William Kareem; Imam Bashir Ali, Midwest & National Convener of Imams in association with the Community of Imam W. Deen Mohammed; Ni’mat Shaheed, author and host of AM360’s The Pearls of Women: Qur’anic Mondays; CWSC’s executive director Mukhtar Muhammad and Honorable Imam Judge David Shaheed of the American Coalition for Good Government, for the 40th Anniversary of a Transition & Evolution…A Look back, Look Now & Look Ahead. Tune in or call in at (646) 716-4478.

CWSC Roundtable host Mark Shahid stated, “the panel will focus on the Imam’s leadership and the transformation of a community now poised to truly help remake the world. The Imam ascended the podium at the original Nation of Islam’s February 26, 1975 Saviors Day Annual Convention to begin a historic evolution …Now 40 years later we ask how far have we come and what remains to be done in the continuing evolution of a people. This final episode in a series that began earlier in 2015 will be a fitting finale as we look forward to 2016 and beyond with a focus that includes current events that challenge our community and every community in America and the world.. We’re asking believers to send in questions for the panelists now at cwsconline@gmail.com. And on event day, we’ll take comments via facebook, twitter and email.”

Friday CWSC Roundtables are an opinion, viewpoints, and perspectives discussion sponsored by the Community Wide Shuraa Conference. Roundtable views expressed by hosts, panelists and guests are not necessarily the official position of the CWSC, Inc.

The Scholarship is established in honor of the late Mr. & Mrs. James and Henrietta Payton who while themselves being denied access to educational opportunities in the State of Texas because of their ethnicity, nevertheless struggled against all odds to ensure their four daughters would have a better educational opportunity…Click here to continue reading about the Payton Next Generation Scholarship.

You too have a unique opportunity through the CWSC MAPS college scholarship administration service to establish a nationally supported, tax deductible scholarship honoring a pioneer. Click here to learn more about preserving pioneer histories through college scholarships.
