CWSC Building the Community Life Seminar

 

Mondays 9 a.m. EST, you’re invited to a national weekly seminar on AM360.org entitled Building the Community Life Seminar, a new AM360.org series on Leadership & the Tools of Management.

This CWSC Weekly Seminar is part of the Learning Lab concept and designed to help communities in the areas of leadership and its operational components including systems and resource identification and management, organization, group decision-making, structure, transparency, accountability, and responsibility, and much more.

Principal resources used include Al-Qur’an, Hadith, the Commentary of Imam Dr. W. Deen Mohammed (R), the CWSC Website, and the text and blog, Genesis of New American Leadership.

In addition to hosting periodic special guests, the national radio audience will be regularly invited to participate live on air and to send in comments in advance of weekly broadcasts to info@cwsc.us, tweet @CWShuraa, facebook a question, or leave a listener comment on the CWSC comment line at (910) 317-0297. join us for a lively conversation as each week together we work to overcome the cultural barriers to operational excellence. Pause for Founders Day Special in honor of Imam Thomas Abdul Salaam. CWSC has by official proclamation declared August 26 as CWSC Founder’s Day to be celebrated annually. The commemoration date was established to honor the life, contributions and legacy of CWSC and AM360 founder Imam Thomas Abdul-Salaam (R) and is marked with on-air and on-line remembrances, interviews, tributes and other appropriate recognition of the sacrifice and commitment Thomas demonstrated till his last days of serving Allah (SWT) and his community. His motto “If it is to be, it’s up to me” has now brought us to the bigger community vision of “If it is be, it’s up to we.” Be inspired!

Episode 14: Ch. 3 Prophet Muhammed (SA), the Office of Imam, and the Institutionalization of Leadership. Revisiting the relationship between charismatic personality-based leadership and institutional leadership and joining us is special recurring guest computer education specialist Fatih Ameen of New York presenting Technology Today: How the new information age impacts the building of community life. In this special extended edition of The Seminar, we’ll deal with the Human Relations Aspect of Leadership Part 1, plus some surprises including commentary on sober patriotism and the real history of racism. This episode is dedicated to the memory of American Muslim Pioneer Brother Shaya of New York who used his knowledge of technology, electronics and sound to help Imam Dr. W Deen Mohammed (R) usher in a new beginning for Al-Islam in America and the world.– September 9, 2019.
