Teams

Teams support the work of the National Intelligentsia, Think Tank & Clearing House, and the Model Communities National Resource Directory (MCNRD). Teams may be formed by CWSC as ad hoc groups to study a specific issue, or they may be formed by consultants themselves via the MCNRD who use their related expertise or common assistance given to institutions, to share lessons learned and publish best practices to benefit more institutions.

Teams are generally self-directed with wide latitude to perform to the maximum extent of their creativity and available time, and are encouraged to brainstorm, initiate plans, propose and implement solutions, partner with other teams when appropriate and share their progress with fellow teams and CWSC in general.

There are some limitations and restrictions on allowed activities provided by CWSC governance to ensure compliance with federal, state or local laws for registered 501(c)(3) organizations. Teams and Committees please consult Team & Committee Operating Guidelines & Best Practices (Pending).

Some of the interests and skills sets available via the Model Communities National Resource Directory (MCNRD) are shown below. You can network with others who have interests, skills, and training similar to yours.

Click here to register your expertise and become a volunteer consultant to institutions registered  in the National Resource Directory and/or to collaborate with an ad hoc team.
