He is an Outreach Recovery Coach, Provisional Certified Recovery Peer Advocate, Mental Health First Aid Responder and Custodial Clergy for local and regional Correctional Institutions. He has over twenty years in post incarceration recovery and holds a Paralegal Degree and Certification in Pastoral Care and works with both adults and youth. The Imam is a national talk show host on AM360 for Criminal Justice Reform, and Breaking The Habit weekly broadcasts.
