We asked you to take the “What if” Community-Wide Brainstorming Challenge and share with all of us a “headline” into the future…a future unimpeded by the word “can’t.” The required format was to state your headline and even go further if you desired to and to report on it as though you were there witnessing and recording it firsthand. The headline would end with “What if?” And here was the sample or demo “What if” headline we offered as an example:

Supporters of Community Wide Shuraa Conference (CWSC) have agreed to begin research and plans for the establishment of a CWSC National Federal Credit Union.
Membership begins with as little as $10 per member and will be open to all. The CWSC NFCU will be established and operated on principles of Islamic finance. Be imaginative and unconstrained by a perceived lack of resources, people, finances, or other obstacles that stand as ghosts blocking the path of achievement. Our Lord is the Most Gracious, Most Merciful and the Owner of everything!

Share as many What if’s as you like on any topic or issue domestic or international. You don’t have to figure out a plan to make the headline a reality. That’s for all of us to ponder on together as we form focus teams throughout the country. This is our chance to envision what the future can be, no matter how far ahead we want to be or where we are now.

The first step to bringing an idea into material reality is when the pen intersects the paper. Go ahead, pick up your pen and take us on your intellectual journey of creativity and model community excellence…together we can remake the world.
