“Invite (all) to the Way of thy Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching; and argue with them in ways that are best and most gracious: for thy Lord knoweth best, who have strayed from His Path, and who receive guidance.” Al-Qur’an, 16:125.
Letter to the President of the United States accompanying the Gift of Remaking Our World…
“…We will be able to speed up that day when all of God’s children, black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics [and Muslims], will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual, ‘Free at last, free at last. Thank God Almighty, we are free at last.’—Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Re: Gift of Remaking Our World
Dear Mr. President: Peace be with you.
We are pleased to enclose a gift of Remaking our World Calendar. Presently across the country, Remaking Our World is making its way to leaders in religion, government, business, military and law enforcement, academia, media, the arts and other fields. The purpose of this institutional gift is to share with as many opinion shapers as possible, information on a topic that has garnered our nation’s and world’s attention, especially after the tragic events of 9/11—Islam and Muslims…it is a topic debated across the airwaves it seems every day. The outcome of such discussions either generate heat or light and will directly impact the ability of Muslims and others to contribute as citizens in this shared freedom space we call democracy.
The beginning of a new year and celebration of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday followed closely by President’s Day and Black History Month are opportune moments for each of us to assess how we are contributing to the American Dream—a dream not just captured in the often referenced “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness,” but also aptly conveyed in the words of our pledge of allegiance: “one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”
We believe our nation’s future and its positive influence in the world rest upon our ability to see one another as equal citizens, with equal rights and a common responsibility for our future; at such level of respect unmarred by unfair discrimination; at such level of collaboration unhampered by an underutilization of the group intellect; and at such level of mutual respect we can achieve a more perfect union of hearts and minds to help make our communities, our nation, and the world a better place for all. In this spirit, we present a gift of Remaking Our World.
Thank you for your time and consideration and Best Wishes for the coming year.
[Special Note: Similar correspondence accompanied gifts to the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives and the U.S. Supreme Court. Thank you to all the masajid, churches, synagogs, schools and other organizations and persons who supported the National Dawah Campaign. Because of you, we were able to fund the campaign and help civic and business institutions generate funds for their local operations. Remaking Our World has sold out! Only special order fundraising print runs are now available for 200 or more calendars. Ask your church, mosque or synagog to collaborate locally with others for a minimum print run to make Remaking Our World available for your local community. We wish all a Very Blessed 2018!]
