Muhammad Ali Janazah Services

 

Friday, June 10, 2016 at KFC Yum! Center, 1 Arena Plaza, Louisville, KY 40202 at 2 p.m. preceded by a 9 a.m. processional. Janazah Officiated by Imam Zaid Shakir (Zaytuna College Co-Founder, United For Change Co-Founder & Chair. Berkeley, California).

Ten windows will be open at the Yum! Center starting at 10 a.m. Wednesday. People will not be allowed to line up until 6 a.m. On Friday, doors will open at 11:30 a.m.

The Janazah Services will be open to the public and be preceded by a procession as follows:

Bardstown Road North from 4501 to the Watterson Expressway Westbound
Watterson Expressway Westbound to I-65 Northbound
I-65 Northbound to I-64 Westbound
9th Street- From I-64 to Muhammad Ali Boulevard
Muhammad Ali Boulevard from 9th Street to 34th Street
34th Street from Muhammad Ali Boulevard to Grand Avenue
Grand Avenue from 34th to 32nd
32nd Street from Grand Avenue to Broadway
Broadway from 32nd to Cave Hill Cemetery entrance

Insha Allah, the CWSC will have an Ambassador present to attend, make prayer and pay respects. We are also sending condolences and encourage all our masajid to make du’a on Friday for the Champ, his family and the Ummah.
