Keeping the promise: a heartfelt thanks

“On the day when you will see the believing men and women with light streaming out ahead of them and to their right, (they will be told), ‘the good news for you today is that there are Gardens graced with flowing streams where you will stay: that is truly the supreme triumph!” (Qur’an 57:12)

“…those are the people of the Garden and there they will remain. And We will remove any malice from their hearts. Rivers will flow under them and they will say, ‘Praise be to Allah who has guided us to this! We would not have been guided, had Allah not guided us! The Messengers of our Lord came with the truth.’ It will be proclaimed to them: ‘This is your Garden which you have inherited for what you did.” (Qur’an 7:43)

“Among the seven people who will be shaded by Allah (SWT) under His shade on the day when there will be no shade but His, they include, two persons who love each other only for Allah’s sake, and they meet and part in Allah’s cause only.” From the Life Example of Muhammed the Prophet (S)

ASA, Brother Thomas Abdul-Salaam, Many thanks for keeping AM360 alive and for your leadership of the Community Wide Shuraa Conference. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed last weekend. Now, it’s time to go to work. We are very proud of the wonderful work and the legacy you have established for the last 5 years. We are very impressed with Brother Mukthar (spelling –?), Imam Adam Beyah, and Sis. Shakira Ali… (4 I sent Imam Talib Shareef, who asked us to attend, a preliminary report on the weekend and have emailed sister friends of mine in other parts of the country to inform them about CWSC and about this past weekend. Looking forward to working with you and the Conference leaders. Thank you very much, Sis. Saisa Neel [moderated]
