A Letter to Congress – Stand in Defense of Our Nation’s Future

“…Value people when they represent hope for the future…shouldn’t we be hurt when we see something bad happen to them? Whether you know all the values of a people or not, if you just know they love freedom and hate oppression and sacrifice their lives to throw off such oppression. then you must extend your allegiance to connect with them also.” —Imam W. Deen Mohammed (R)

The Creator says to us in the Qur’an, “Whoever recommends and helps a good cause becomes a partner therein, and whoever recommends and helps an evil cause shares in its burdens.”— Al Quran, 4:85.

CWSC believes the student-led Never Again movement is such a cause that can bring about tremendous good in schools and communities across our country. It is truly amazing how youthful leaders have reminded us all of a great responsibility we share in together.

Our youth have asked leaders across the country to complement our prayers and thoughts with action and in doing so, they remind us that our faith is truly manifested in action and in an engaged, compassionate concern for one another.

Together we can remake the world. Thank you.

Blessings always
