Dr. Ameena Ali is a professional midwife, maternal educator, reproductive, birth and social justice activist and “lactivist.” A certified doctor of naturopathic care, she is founder and director of the Atlanta-based, A Mother’s Peace,  a midwifery outreach meeting the maternal wellness needs of women in crises including indigent, homeless, undocumented, incarcerated, HIV, teen clientele and pregnant domestic violence and sexual assault victims. She is a passionate caregiver committed to making a difference in the quality of life for some of the most vulnerable women in society. Dr. Ali premiers November 5, 2015.
