AM360 Broadcasting Quality Assurance & SEO Review!

Dear Quality Assurance Reviewer: As-Salaam-Alaikum!

[Click here for the CWSC AM360 Host Handbook]

Thank you for serving as a broadcasting Quality Assurance Review (QAR) Team reviewer. Reviews enhance our ability to provide our listener with the best broadcasting experience as we fulfill the AM360 mission and vision. Reviews also allow station management and department leaders to design education and development programs by identifying areas for individual improvement as well as identify and share what could be unique strengths demonstrated on an episode that can benefit the entire AM360 Network.

A review can be triggered for any number of reasons including a regularly scheduled program review; random review; a listener or other complaint generated review; or even an unusually highly rated episode. In any event, your assessment is an important part of executing our overall commitment to continuous improvement. Your review is automatically routed to station management. The station’s Programming Manager will provide results to the reviewed host or co-host as appropriate. A note on SEO (Search Engine Optimization) for podcasting: Every broadcast is eventually a podcast and must there conform to internet wide industry standards during the show creation process. Show Title must use only numbers and letters and not have any special characters except the dash (-). Show Description will reflect the content as submitted by the host and approved by the Programming Manager and all descriptions shall include the day and EST time zone of the show along with the following standard text: Connect at AM360.org and by phone at (701) 719-4197! Share comments at info@cwsc.us. Visit AM360.org’s parent corporation Community Wide Shuraa Conference at cwsc.us, or leave a listener comment at (910) 317-0297.

Show Short Pitch shall be a one liner with specific key words that inform the audience on the content of the show without repeating any information already included in the title or description. Show Tags shall consist of key words that are search terms that cannot be too broad, but are generally associated with the topic so it can be found not by human eyes, but by internet algorithms across the internet during searches. Do not use special characters in the tag section. Avoid repeating the exact same words already used in show creation data entry blocks.

Use regular grammatical sentence case for all show creation blocks. Note never place a period after the title of the show and note a period is never placed after the title of the show in the title block.

Tips for Completing Review. To save time and prevent duplication of effort, you’ll normally be assigned to review different episodes of the same program. Be as objective as possible in your assessment. Use the CWSC Podcast Page to quickly access the most recently recorded episodes or use the search feature for more episodes, unless you receive a broadcast link by email to review a specific episode.

It’s easier to complete the Form if you’re already familiar with its contents before conducting a quality assurance review. Making notes while listening can also help in completing the Form. N/A means an item is not applicable.

If you have questions on completing the Form, contact the QAT Manager. You might be contacted for additional explanation of your assessment.

Thank you for contributing to the mission and vision. Email comments on how to improve the Form or process to info@cwsc.us.
